As more and more people get into investments be it stocks or cryptos, I’m gonna talk about some tools I find really useful to analyze past trades or decide to buy or not an asset !

I started investing in cryptos in 2017 and in stocks in 2020, and like everyone I made some mistakes and hopefully learned from them ! One important thing is of course knowledge !

How many times did you invest in an asset without really taking a look at what it is and what it does, what are its financial metrics ? Is the current value a fair value ?

Let’s see some tools that can help you in all that !

TradingView

TradingView is a top tool for charting, getting informations and ideas on stocks and some other assets like cryptos. The charts are one of the best in the markets and you actually often see them in other websites as widgets ! Pre-market and after-markets prices can also appear.

Facebook stock with 3 indicators

An important part before investing is checking the financials ! That’s easy to do, and tradingview offers a nice interface for that :

Financials of Palantir stock

But it’s not only that ! The community can share their ideas, analysis and bullish/bearish sentiment by writing articles with commented charts for example. There’s also stock/crypto/forex screeners to help you find what you want to trade

“History of BTCUSD” chart is an interesting one showing all the major events in Bitcoin history

Finviz

This tool has a design from another decade but it’s one of the best for data visualisation and its interface is super fast !

Finviz automatically detects some patterns, like the double top here with SPCE

Finviz has a really feature-rich stock screener with many many options, it’s a really good choice to find quality undervalued stocks for example, or get informations on what insiders do !

Another cool tool for information on insider trading is https://wallmine.com/ ;)

DividendMax

My favorite tool to know about upcoming dividends ! It’s super reliable and clear contrary to some other websites I came across.

Trading 212

For trading I use several trading platforms but the one I use the most is Trading 212, it’s free to use, the interface is nice and you can get a free stock with this link. I’m quite satisfied with it but keep in mind it’s a free trading platform, there’s always some trade-offs, but for most investors it’s worth it !

Tracking your stock investment Portfolio

If like me you like to analyze and track all your stock investments in one place then make sure to check the Google Spreadsheet I did that include custom scripts allowing advanced features like dynamic and interactive charts. I did this multi-account, multi-currency spreadsheet because it was complicated for me to handle my 4 trading platforms in two different currencies (USD and EUR), now it’s super easy 🚀. You get 30% off by following this link.

Stock Investments Portfolio made easy

Tracking your crypto investments Portfolio

Regarding cryptos I use Accointing which is great because it handles both centralized exchanges AND wallets, you just have to create api keys (read-only) in Coinbase for example and then use it, for wallets, just fill in the wallet addresses. It handles a lot of things, except your assets that are staked in contracts, so for that I use https://zapper.fi/dashboard. The good thing with Accointing is that it can also help you in your tax reports…

Accointing

The three best crypto exchanges

  • Binance — The biggest and most innovative Crypto Exchange in the world
  • Coinbase — The most trusted US-based crypto exchange, first to do an IPO
  • FTX — The exchange that offers unique features is growing fast

Earn Cryptos and Fiat easily

  • Celsius — Safely Earn cryptos while you sleep !
  • Mintos — Safely Earn fiat while you sleep !
  • Gitcoin — Contribute code and earn cryptos !

What do you think of these tools ? Please feel free to comment if you already tried some or want to recommend tools or apps I did not mention ;)

Happy investing, Cheers!
